We want the City of Yazoo to be a community that is clean, safe, healthy and prosperous. A place we are proud to call home.
Our goal is to ensure that all citizens receive the proper services they need and that these services are provided in a professional and timely manner.
The City’s operating principles include responsiveness to our citizens, professionalism in our daily operations, and efficiency in providing services to our community.
The Mayor and Board of Alderman/Alderwoman meet on the second and fourth Monday of each Monday at 2:00 p.m. All meetings are held at the Police Department located on Mike Espy Drive.
All meetings are open to the public and are also broadcast over the local Radio Station – Power 107. We encourage citizen participation and all comments and suggestions are welcome.
